Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword
I feel like the main downside to this card is that it's not as funny as either Time Magic Hammer or Rocket Hermos Cannon. It definitely gains a lot of points for actually resembling the iconic monster used to create it (for once), but I like the silliness of the other two much more. That said: this is still a pretty damn cool sword. Who wouldn't want a dragon themed sword, especially a Red-Eyes one? While the sword itself is cool, I do wish it stood out more from the background like the two Hermos fusions I've reviewed previously. The major colors used for the sword itself and the background are the same (black and gray), with only a little bit of green and orange present for effect. A red background would probably pop much better, while still being fitting for Red-Eyes, of course.

Rocket Hermos Cannon
“Must be Special Summoned with ‘The Claw of Hermos’, using a Warrior-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it. It can make a second attack during each Battle Phase, also, if it attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.”

Rocket Warrior ———————————————— During your Battle Phase, this card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no battle damage from attacks involving this card. If this card attacks a monster, after damage calculation: That attack target loses 500 ATK until the end of this turn. ———————————————— Can Be Found In: Collectible Tins 2005 (CT2-EN005), Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World Mega Pack  (LCJW-EN042), Duelist Pack: Battle City (DPBC-EN023), Legendary Decks II (LDK2-ENJ13)
Cards featured in both manga and anime series will likely become popular regardless of their efficiency in the game. Despite any backlash they might receive from the competitive community, is undeniable that these cards are one of the main reasons why the franchise keeps flourishing over the competition after all these years. Some of them will be lucky enough to obtain their very own archetype, but others will lose prevalence over stronger options yet remain prevalent in reprints thanks to its cult following.
"Rocket Warrior" is a good example of a monster that despite many better options to choose from, is still present in several releases thanks to its role in the original series. "Rocket Warrior" has the ability to nullify damage as well its own damage in battles during our Battle Phases, making it a safe offense to go with in various circumstances.  But this ability will be commonly used along its second effect, as after attacking a monster it will make it lose 500 ATK until the turn ends. While "Rocket Warrior" is far from a tough attacker, its abilities makes it a solid choice to either declare safe attacks or weaken tough enemies so other monsters will break through the opponent's field.
Although its effects mostly require another monster(s) for its best results, "Rocket Warrior" is in a solid position to come along as soon as is needed. Thanks to its position as a Warrior-Type, "Reinforcement of the Army" will immediately add it to our hand for its immediate summon, while other popular choices like "Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights" gives us the alternative to summon it from our Deck. Assuring the summoning of "Rocket Warrior" with company is no difficult task, as cards like "Marauding Captain" and "Tin Goldfish" will give us an extra summon to either attack together or work as materials. In combination with late game effects like revival cards as well "The Warrior Returning Alive" retrieving it back to our hand, "Rocket Warrior" has all bases covered to keep its pressence from early to late game.
With the ability to weaken enemies in battle as avoids most of its risks from its average stats, "Rocket Warrior" will mostly work as support of other monsters to give them an opportunity to take down any strong threats. As mentioned is no difficult task to assure we have other monsters along "Rocket Warrior" to take advantage of its attacks, not only from mentioned cards like "Marauding Captain" but many other summoning options we can work before or after this monster is on the field. From monsters with easy accesibility like "Cyber Dragon" to cards preparing materials for bigger summons like "Photon Sanctuary" and "Sky Striker Mecha - Hornet Drones", despite its reliance on other monsters "Rocket Warrior" has this more than assured. However, with its attacks completely nullifying damage as well its own destruction, "Rocket Warrior" can act on its own as the opponent will rely in very few options to take it down. Common stat boosts like "Mage Power" and "Honest" will make "Rocket Warrior" able to take down any enemies on its own, cards like "Light Laser" will improve its disruptive power by banishing its target(s), while cards like "Rocket Pilder" and "Rocket Hermos Cannon" gives it the opportunity to weaken the opponent's field further.
"Rocket Warrior" is that kind of monster that despite its obvious flaws, didn't stop it to become a common choice for fans of the series. Its low stats, reliance on other monsters and cards to obtain its best results, and obviously the pressence of better and faster options to disrupt opponent's monsters have been the main problems "Rocket Warrior" right from its debut. Yet that didn't stop its fanbase to look for chances to stand out, not only with the ever increasing number of summoning effects to come along with monsters that can take advantage of its attack(s), but also use its protective effects as a failsafe when battling on its own. While "Rocket Warrior" is far from one of the strongest monsters out there, with basic support  is able to perform perfectly in casual play.
Personal Rating: B
+ Nullifies its own destruction in battles as well any battle damage in our Battle Phases + If attacks a monster it will make it lose 500 ATK until the end turn + Greatly supported to work with other monsters or alone
- Depends on other monsters and/or effects to be efficient - Low stats to survive the opponent's turns - Easily overshadowed by many better options to deal with monsters

With his scientifically-advanced armor, Valon systematically dismantles Jonouchi’s every move! However, Jonouchi is ready to strike back with his own modern armory as he combines Claw of Hermos with Rocket Warrior to form a never-before-seen cannon with incredibly devastating capabilities! As Jonouchi fires the final obliterating blast, victory is in his grasp... or is there more to Valon’s techno tactics than meets the eye?

Time Magic Hammer
While not quite as funny as Rocket Hermos Cannon is appearance wise, this thing being the very first Hermos fusion ever is funny in and of itself. Not funny in a "I infected this cool dragon" way, but in more of a "there is no way a dragon was involved in this fusion” way. The Time Wizard elements are self evident (he even gets a little silhouette cameo in the background!), this being a hammer that warps other monsters into the future, but as for Hermos' influence????? Nonexistent. Not that this hammer needs it, because it’s super cute and sleek regardless. I really love the addition of the little floating wings; they help this card seem like more than just a hammer. While the background is a little busy, the green swirls are a direct reference to Time Wizard’s own background, with deformed clocks added in there to help emphasize this card’s time magic abilities.
Rating: 10/10, Weaponized Time Wizard

Rocket Hermos Cannon
I swear to god I can’t even look at this thing this is too funny. Just... Turn your all powerful dragon monster into a fucking Rocket Launcher. Because you know. That’s what Duel Monsters needs. More rocket launchers. I can’t believe this thing wasn’t censored somehow in the TCG but here we are with a literal dragon rocket launcher I guess.
Rating: 10/10, Blow up your enemies, children!

The Claw of Hermos ———————————————— This card is also always treated as "Legendary Dragon Hermos".) Send 1 monster from your hand or field to the Graveyard, of the Type that is listed on a Fusion Monster that can only be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos" (if that card is Set, reveal it), then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "The Claw of Hermos" per turn. ———————————————— Can Be Found In: Dragons of Legend 2 (DRL2-EN013), Dragons of Legend: Unleashed (DRL3-EN067)
The Legendary Dragons are a trio of cards only featured in a filler arc of the original anime. Although not as popular as the Egyptian Gods they still left a mark in the fanbase, and like many other cards were expected to have an official release. After many years from their original debut, the Legendary Dragons were released as Fusion focused Spell Cards in addition of other resources to become splashable tools in certain themes as well an archetype of its very own.
"The Claw of Hermos" is the simplest of the trio as its requeriments to played arround can be included in all sorts of builds. When activated, we can dispose of a monster from our hand or field to summon a Fusion Monster exclusive for "The Claw of Hermos". The only condition is that the used material must match the Type the Fusion asks for, and since we only need a single monster to achieve these summons "The Claw of Hermos" is a quite cheap option to bring big monsters. With four Fusion Monsters to bring with this ability, "The Claw of Hermos" can be suitable for builds focused arround the Types it asks for.
Most of the effort will come from the Deck itself, not only to obtain the right material but also any other monster since the Fusion Monsters "The Claw of Hermos" brings out will become equipment by their abilities. Requiring Warriors easily obtainable by cards like "Reinforcement of the Army" and "E - Emergency Call" among others, "Goddess Bow" is able to negate an effect each turn and grant its target a second attack in response. Also sharing Warriors as material "Rocket Hermos Cannon" also provides an additional attack, but combined with piercing damage allows its target to assure damage against all sorts of enemies. Requiring Spellcasters for its arrival there's "Time Magic Hammer", with a gambling effect to banish enemies for a randomly estimated number of turns, as well cards like "Magician Navigation" and "Onomatopaira" easily obtaining the proper material. Last, with assistance from cards like "The White Stone of Ancients" and "The Melody of Awakening Dragon", there's "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword" as the strongest Fusion of its own as well belonging to the Red-Eyes archetype, but by becoming equipment will offer 1000 ATK plus 500 for each Dragon on the field and in any Graveyard. There are some further benefits depending of the build "The Claw of Hermos" is played on, like dumping big dragons from the hand to be easily revived later on, triggering Shaddoll effects since are sent by an effect rather a cost, or recycling the Spell from the Graveyard to summon the Legendary Knights by the effect of "Legend of Heart".
When compared to the other Legendary Dragons, "The Claw of Hermos" has the most liberties to be played in many Decks thanks to the vague requeriments of its Fusion Summons. Each Fusion offers some pros and cons of their own to stand out, from "Rocket Hermos Cannon" as the easiest to bring out thanks to the big support among Warriors to "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword" becoming the most lethal in late game. However, although "The Claw of Hermos" only requires a single monster for its summons, still needs a second monster on the field. As with the exception of "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword" the other three have very poor stats to be on their own, becoming dependant of a proper target to obtain the best benefits. "The Claw of Hermos" is not a difficult Spell Card to be played arround with, but still requires some good timing to bring a Fusion Monster along the best target as possible to be equipped with.
Personal Rating: B+
+ Brings a Fusion Monster only requiring a single material of certain Types + Highly supported regardless of the Type(s) is working along with
- Requires to work along strong monsters so can be equipped with the Fusion Monsters that summons - Almost all Fusion Monsters available by its effect are weak on their own
